OK, I have a pretty amazing story. Some of you may recall a little over 2 years ago I sent the email below that my brand spanking new Bing was stolen off my back porch. It was definitely a unique board that I paid quit a deal of money for. Anyway, the number of responses from everybody after the email was staggering... everything from " I am gonna kick the persons a$$ who stole the board" to " if I see the thief I will run over him with my car". Thank you to all for the support, and yes no need to seize the board anymore.

Well after all these years, I received a random email on Sunday that the board had been seen in a pawn shop. Immediately and shocked, I responded to the email for all the details. A surfer who lives in Wilmington, DE saw the board in a pawn shop in Elkton, MD and before purchasing it went home and googled it to find more info. After providing the specs, details etc he uncovered that the board was stolen after visiting www.stolensurfboardsonline.com (still posted after all these years). Therefore, he contacted the Webster letting him know he found my board. I then contacted him, found out where the board was, contacted Dewey Beach Police for the Case # ( stunned that it was still on file). DBP sent the case # to the Elkton Police Dept and I picked up the board yesterday from the pawn shop. Amazingly enough the condition of the board is basically brand new, with one small rail shatter...UN F-ING Believable. This truly says something about the surf community and that tesiment that surfers look out for one another... thanks to everybody that made this a reality.

Thought I would share this story with all of you- still cannot believe it was recovered and now back in my possession. Now I can finally get this board wet for the first time.
