STOLEN SURFBOARDS ONLINE
Generally, surfers are not wealthy and surfboards are not cheap. Many surfers work hard to earn the money to buy a surfboard. Unfortunately there are low-lifes willing to steal a surfboard for any number of reasons. This site is dedicated to assisting our surfing brothers and sisters that have been victim of a rip-off in the recovery of their board. Our mission is to spread the word (and photos, if available) about any stolen boards in circulation and help shut down the low-lifes.
The GALLERY is at this point more of an index than a gallery. And it's a service provided for free. We don't believe that we should charge someone money when they've already been ripped off once. Costs and overhead are being kept as low as possible so as to not have to charge for the service. We do, however, have Friends that provide us with links and outlets. Please visit their sites to show appreciation for their support of this work.
HOW TO is simply that, how to go through the process of reporting a stolen board.
REPORT A BOARD will (eventually) allow one to submit all the information needed for the Gallery, including a picture of the board. Any other suggestions for improvements will be appreciated.
The FORUM has become unmanageable and is disabled. It's broken and I can't figure out how to fix it at this time. I don't want to give up on the idea of the forum just yet. Somehow, I'll get one up that works and is spam-bot proof. I've been getting over a hundred requests a day for signups for spam bots. Sorry for the inconvenience, but that's life sometimes......
CONTACT US will submit some email to the staff and management of STOLEN SURFBOARDS ONLINE.
